TO: All Residents FROM: The Board of Directors RE: Project Updates & Community Announcements DATE: April 30, 2026

1. COMCAST CONTRACT RENEWAL

The Board is finalizing a new 5-year Comcast agreement (previously 10 years) maintaining the current rate of $70/month for internet and cable, included in condo dues. The new contract upgrades internet speed from the lowest tier to 1 Gigabyte ($30/month value), adds free ESPN Unlimited ($30/month value), and caps annual increases at 5% — consistent with the prior contract — with a target of 3–4%.

2. SKYLIGHT REPAIRS — BUILDING C, 6TH FLOOR

Residents on the 6th floor of Building C have requested that Reserve Funds cover skylight window replacements, quoted at $2,000 per unit. The Board and legal counsel are currently evaluating the legality and feasibility of this request.

3. SECURITY ENHANCEMENTS

The Board is evaluating additional security cameras and lighting throughout the property. Special thanks to Officer Fernando Gavilano for his ongoing vigilance at The Towers. A community meeting on personal and building safety tips is also being considered.

4. BUILDING MAINTENANCE — PEST CONTROL

Mice control efforts are underway, with all common areas and trash rooms across all buildings treated multiple times. Building C’s final follow-up is scheduled for May 14th, after which Building A will be addressed.  Resident cooperation is essential — please keep units clean and avoid leaving trash in common areas.

5. SABBATH ELEVATOR — BUILDING D

Testing of the Sabbath Elevator in Building D has been delayed due to the software company’s failure to provide complete diagrams to the maintenance contractor. The Board has made extensive efforts to resolve this and move the project forward.

6. BOARD SIZE REDUCTION — VOTE REQUIRED (9 to 7 Members)

A vote is open on reducing the Board from 9 to 7 members. All residents are urged to vote, whether for or against. Vote electronically or visit the management office for assistance or to submit paperwork.

7. MAILBOX LOCK ISSUES

Residents with mailbox lock problems should contact USPS directly, as this falls under their jurisdiction.

8. POOL SEASON OPENING

The pool opens Memorial Day weekend, May 23rd. We welcome our new pool management company, SPLASH, and look forward to a great season!

For questions regarding any of the above, please contact the management office.
